In 2004, Barry and his wife Suzette brought tennis programming and instruction to the Town of Parker, teaching out of neighborhood courts and Chaparral High School. But, his love for tennis started long before that and throughout his career, he has been involved in all areas of the sport – starting as a Collegiate athlete, he kicked off his professional career at Head Sports Inc., handling Pro Player Relations, Product Development and Sales, he then served as General Manager for The Pines Athletic Club and the Evergreen Athletic Club, and as the Athletic Director at Colorado Athletic Club Denver, before settling down in Parker and launching Parker Tennis.

 

In 2008, Barry partnered with the Town to build Railbender Tennis & Skate Park, he has instructed countless residents – of all ages and abilities, run many different programs and coached tennis at both Chaparral and Legend High School.  Barry is a well-respected Umpire, in Colorado and across the country. In 2014, the Riddle’s were named the USTA Colorado Family of the Year and Barry was awarded the USTA Colorado Umpire of the Year in 2015.
