Junior Program Descriptions
The Parker Racquet Club offers many opportunities for new and developing young tennis players. Utilizing the USTA Quick Start format, players learn to play tennis rapidly, while developing physical, mental and emotional skills. Our programs simplify and advance strokes while teaching patterns of play so that students can be self-reliant, smart and tournament tough.
Mini Aces: Ages 4-6:
This USTA QuickStart class plays on the 36-foot court and teaches the fundamentals in a fun tennis environment.
Foam and Red Dot Balls.
Rising Stars: Ages 7-9:
This USTA QuickStart class plays on the 36-foot court and helps develop players with hand eye coordination, rallying, point play, basic scoring and other tennis skills.
Foam, Red and Orange Dot Balls.
Junior Champs: Ages 10-12:
This USTA QuickStart class covers all the tennis strokes, rules and gameplay,
while focusing on improving mental and physical tennis skills.
Orange and Green Dot Balls.
High Performance Levels 1 - 4:
Our High Performance level 1 classes are geared towards junior players striving to become high level players who are planning on participating in UTR/USTA tournaments.

Our High Performance level 2 classes are geared towards junior players striving to become high level players who are planning on participating in UTR/USTA tournaments.
*MINIMUM uTR 1.0 REQUIRED TO REGISTER
Our High Performance level 3 classes are specifically for junior players who are actively participating in UTR/USTA events
*MINIMUM uTR 2.0 REQUIRED TO REGISTER
Our High Performance level 4 classes are specifically for junior players who are high level players actively participating in UTR/USTA events

High School PREP: Ages 13 - 18:
Designed for players in Middle / High School who are new to the sport, looking to improve fundamentals, who have yet to play High School Tennis.
Youth tennis ages 4-13
middle / high school tennis ages 12-18
High School JV: Ages 13 - 18:
Designed for players who have played JV High School Tennis or competitive USTA/UTR Tournaments.
High School Varsity: Ages 13 - 18:
To enroll in this class players must have played on their Varsity team, or successfully won a L6/L7 USTA Event.

Parker Racquet Club Summer Camps:
PRC Tennis Camps are a great way to play lots of tennis while working on fundamental basics, fun games and contests.
Match play opportunities are also offered to learn the game of tennis with peers of your own age
Junior TENNIS LEAGUE:
junior Tennis league (jTL) brings together boys and girls, ages 8-13, to compete in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles against other PRC and local coed teams. Beyond providing a fun environment, JTT is a competitive league separated by each teams playing level. The JTT season will comprise of two practices and one match per week. Match play opportunities are also offered to learn the game of tennis with peers of your own age
High School League:
Boys and Girls High School players, ages 13-18 compete in singles and doubles against other PRC, local HS and Club teams.
The HS Tennis league is designed to be a competitive environment that promotes individual and team growth, mirroring the high school experience.
